My Practice in Psychosexology

My practice in psychosexology draws on a combination of validated therapeutic tools and body-based and relational practices, to offer in-depth support for intimate, emotional and sexual concerns. Here are the ones I use with the greatest care:

Schema Therapy

Rooted in cognitive-behavioural therapy, schema therapy explores our « early maladaptive schemas »: the beliefs and emotional patterns embedded in childhood. By identifying these mechanisms, we can transform them into more fitting and current resources. This approach is particularly relevant for working on self-esteem, emotional dependency or recurring patterns of suffering in intimate and relational life. It makes sense of what we experience, with clarity and effectiveness.

Therapeutic Hypnosis

Far from stage magic, therapeutic hypnosis guides you into a modified state of consciousness, between wakefulness and sleep. You remain present, but more receptive to new inner pathways. It is particularly useful for untangling sexual blocks, releasing trauma or restoring the body’s right to pleasure. Hypnosis often reaches places where words alone no longer suffice. It is a gentle invitation to reprogram one’s relationship to oneself and to intimacy.

Sophrology

This mind-body practice combines breathing, dynamic relaxation and positive visualisation. It helps us inhabit our body more fully, regulate stress, and reconnect with pleasant sensations. In sexology, sophrology helps to manage pain, performance anxiety or low desire. It gets things moving again where they were stuck. Accessible to everyone, it is an excellent tool for rediscovering a vibrant, peaceful and joyful sexuality.

Mindfulness

Being here and now, without self-judgment: that is the heart of mindfulness. In sexology, it helps break free from hypercontrol, intrusive thoughts or the pressure to perform. It restores space for slowness, sensation, raw pleasure. This approach allows us to reconnect with bodily, emotional and relational feelings with curiosity and kindness. It is a powerful gateway to a freer, more grounded sexuality.

EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique)

By gently tapping on acupuncture points while verbalising emotions or memories, EFT works like an express emotional stress-reliever. It helps release charge linked to painful experiences, limiting beliefs or sexual fears. It is gentle, fast and non-intrusive. It gives the concrete feeling that « something is being released ». A precious tool for relearning inner safety.

Non-Violent Communication (NVC)

NVC is a tool for inner and relational peace. It teaches us to identify our deep needs, express our emotions without blame, and listen to others with empathy. In sexology, it helps to ease communication in couples, set limits without guilt, and talk about sexuality without embarrassment or conflict. It cultivates clarity, tenderness and authenticity in exchanges, even on the most intimate subjects.

Imago Approach

The Imago approach is a relational dialogue tool, particularly powerful for couples. It transforms conflicts into opportunities for reconnection, by creating a safe, structured and deeply empathic space for conversation. Through a precise protocol of mutual listening, each person can speak without being interrupted, heard in their needs and understood in their wounds. This method rests on the idea that our partners often awaken our old pain — not to hurt us, but to give us a chance to heal together. A true medicine of the bond, in the service of intimacy and emotional repair.

Cognitive-Behavioural Therapies (CBT)

CBT is based on transforming the thoughts and behaviours that sustain psychological suffering. They offer concrete, targeted and effective exercises for treating anxiety disorders, sexual compulsions, phobias or blocks. In sexology, they help break free from mental loops to reclaim a chosen, empowered sexuality. A structured and reassuring approach, ideal for those who like to « understand in order to change ».

Tantra (in a therapeutic context)

Tantra, as I practise it, is neither mystical nor sexual. It is an art of slowing down, breathing, feeling. It offers a deep reconnection with breath, gaze and vital energy. In a therapeutic context, it helps reinhabit the body with care, and explore a sensuality free from performance. It is particularly powerful for those who want to move out of automatism or sexual dissociation. A path of bodily re-enchantment.

Somatic Approach

Our body speaks: tensions, postures, pain, breathing patterns reveal our lived experiences and our defences. In sexology, the somatic approach allows us to release bodily memories and restore the person’s right to feel. This may involve simple movements, postural awareness or grounding techniques. The body then becomes an ally, a guide, a place of sensitive truth. A powerful entry point for those who have « tried everything in their head ».

Somatic Coaching

More dynamic than therapy, somatic coaching helps activate change in the body and in action. It draws on bodily, emotional and behavioural practices to support a specific goal: reactivating desire, daring to speak, navigating a breakup, recovering erotic energy… Concrete, grounded in the present, it builds confidence in one’s own resources and helps turn blocks into forward movement.

Psychoeducation

Understanding how the body, brain, pleasure or desire cycle works is already soothing. I use psychoeducation to share simple, clear and accessible knowledge, validated by science. It deconstructs myths, taboos and fears around sexuality. Because there is nothing shameful about wanting to understand one’s sensations, emotions or practices. Knowledge is a gentle form of power.

Positive and Inclusive Sexology

My practice is rooted in a joyful, guilt-free vision of sexuality. Here, we are not trying to « fix » a body or a desire, but to understand and honour them. I welcome all identities, orientations, aesthetics, practices and relationship configurations in a respectful, non-judgmental space. Pleasure is not an obligation, but a right. And norms have never made anyone come.

LGBTQIA+ Affirmative Approach

No need to justify yourself, hide, or explain. My stance is fully inclusive, informed and respectful of queer, trans, non-binary, aromantic and asexual journeys. I work with a framework that accounts for systemic discrimination and specific lived experiences. This is not an « add-on » — it is at the very heart of my professional ethics. You are welcome here, exactly as you are.

Knowledge of BDSM and Alternative Sexualities

I support people practising or exploring BDSM, fetishism or other so-called « marginal » sexualities with an informed, non-pathologising approach. Consent, negotiation, safety, erotic power: all fascinating and legitimate themes to explore in therapy. Whether you identify as dominant, submissive, switch or curious, you are welcome here in your full complexity. Nothing is too strange when everything is consensual.

Consent Work

Consent is not just saying « yes or no ». It is feeling what you want, what you don’t want, what you haven’t decided yet. In sexology, I support people in recognising these grey areas, expressing their limits and feeling legitimate in their choices. This work is often foundational to reclaiming a safe and free sexuality, whether after an assault or in everyday relational life. It is an essential compass, not a detail.

Trauma-Informed Approach

I work with a logic of emotional, relational and bodily safety. This means I account for experiences of violence, abuse, shame or dissociation in my support. Nothing is imposed; everything is guided by your own pace. I welcome silences, fears and resistances as forms of protective intelligence. Safety is a condition of pleasure, not its opposite.

Exploring Desire and Libido

Rather than trying to « boost » libido, I help understand desire in all its forms: spontaneous, responsive, fluid, absent, curious… It evolves with time, context and relationships. Sometimes it needs rest. Sometimes it needs to be rediscovered. Together, we explore its pathways — without pressure, without shame, with a great deal of curiosity. Desire is not an obligation; it is an adventure.

Coherence Therapy

Coherence therapy aims to restore harmony between emotions, memories and actions. It helps identify internal contradictions that generate distress or blocks. A gentle, meaning-oriented approach focused on emotional memory. In sexology, it helps connect past and present, mind and body, to recover a sense of inner unity. A powerful method for « getting back into alignment with oneself ».

Support for Non-Monogamous Relationships

Polyamory, open relationships, relationship anarchy… I support people who live or question plural forms of love. Therapeutic work may address jealousy, relational agreements, communication or wounds linked to the monogamy norm. Here, you can speak freely about your relational reality without fear of being judged or redirected towards a single way of loving. All configurations deserve listening and support.

Sexual or Body Journal

Writing to observe, understand, transform. The journal is a powerful introspective tool: it helps notice patterns, track evolution, set down emotions or note desires. It is an intimate dialogue with oneself, a kind mirror of lived experience. It often brings out things that speech has not yet dared to put into words. A simple, personal and often liberating tool.

Breathing and Body Grounding Techniques

Breath is our first link to life. In sexology, it becomes a lever for calming anxiety, recovering pleasure, or moving through an emotion. I guide you with simple exercises adapted to your pace, to ground you in your body, reconnect with your energy, and bring safety back where it is lacking. To breathe is already to feel. And to feel is already to heal.

Menstrual and Hormonal Support

Hormonal fluctuations have a real impact on desire, mood, energy and pleasure. I offer support that takes these fluctuations into account, in relation to your cycle, contraception or health journey. This is a way of reclaiming agency over your intimate experience, rather than merely enduring it. A true ecology of desire and body, tailored to each person who menstruates, with care and precision.
